7 Attendees
Location Holiday Inn: Bennington
Caroline Beischer, School Psychologist, Sussex-Wantage Regional School District
This population has unique educational, communication and social needs that require specialized instruction and skill. Educational programming for students with AS are often non-traditional special education initiatives based on the student's individual strengths, which may be secondary considerations given new, unprecedented budgetary restrictions. Through participation in this session, attendees will understand the imperative to provide these "quirky", atypical learners with the skills needed, to develop the intelligence, creativity, and self-confidence that enable them to realize their amazing potential.
